NRVYM is for High Schoolers (9th-12th) and Middle Schoolers (6th-8th) in the New River Valley parishes of St. Mary’s, St. Jude, and Holy Spirit. The goal of NRVYM is to meet teens where they are in their faith and bring them closer to Christ. Youth ministry programs and events happen year-round. The majority of NRVYM is no cost to you. “Heartbeat” High School Youth Group
monthly at Holy Spirit | Wed 7:30-9pm
Grow in Christ-centered friendship with fellow teens as we dive into our faith and relate it to modern high school life. Ask the questions you always wanted to ask and learn about how to live life in Christ as a teenager.
“Middle School Meetup” Youth Group
monthly at St. Mary’s | Fri 7:00-8:30pm
Join NRV middle schoolers as we come together for fellowship and games, a deep dive into our faith, small group discussions, and prayer. Learn how to live life in Christ as a teenager.
Other Events and Outings

Join us for a variety of events and outings throughout the year such as: service opportunities, evenings of prayer and sacraments, hikes, campfires, retreats and conferences, sports, and various social activities. Additionally, we attend several Richmond Diocese youth events and service trips like DYC, Work Camp, and others.
